S&P Lowers Outlook for U.S. Home, Auto Insurers on Investments

Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. home and auto insurers are more likely to be downgraded than upgraded in the next 18 months, Standard & Poor's said today, citing investment losses.
S&P lowered its outlook on personal-lines insurers to "negative" from "stable" in a statement today.
