Choosing a health plan is never easy, but the Health Plan Navigator, developed in conjunction with John Connolly, author of The ABCs of HMOs, will help complete the task.

Use the Health Plan Navigator to select the kinds of treatment that are important to you, and then to compare the level of benefits for three plans of your choosing.

To get started, read through the list of treatment categories below, setting a priority for each according to your needs. For example, parents of young children probably want full well-baby care and easy access to emergency care.
